Christmas Party December 6th!

posted Nov 23, 2014, 10:24 AM by Gwen Zanin   [ updated Nov 23, 2014, 10:25 AM ]

18th Virginia Members,
It is time again for our annual Christmas Party and get together. Last years was cancelled by heavy snows and cold weather that hit the Eastern Shore. Hopefully it will just be cold and nothing else with it. Below is a list of who has responded and what they will be bringing.

With that, here are the particulars;
Our own Pvt. Kirk Evans has offered up his home to have our Christmas party at this year.
When- 6 December 2014 (It's a Saturday)
(contact J.B. Gumz for details)
Parking is in his front field of the property.

A  2pm start time, that way the "out of town" folks can make it.  Kirk advised he is participating in the "Christmas in Odessa" that day and he invites everyone to come before the party if they would like. It's a really neat event with all kinds of holiday stores, house tours and Revolutionary re-enactments etc.  Here is the link  It is about 20 minutes from his house.

Reminder the Christmas Party is on Saturday, not Sunday.

Dress is Christmas casual as usual.

What to bring-
Kirk will supply the party plates, cups etc.
Denise/Gary are going to supply a turkey.
The Company will supply a Ham.
JB- Christmas Cake
Robert- Fruit Platter, Chips and Dip
Alex/Shelley- Will advise
Dave Pyne- Will advise

This will be a typical potluck event, so everyone should bring a dish and respond so that I know what others are bringing. I will post updates as I get them.

With this email, please RSVP if you are coming or not, so we can get a headcount, plan seating and tables and that we have enough food.

So your mission is to let me know if you are coming or not and what you might be bringing so we don't have five folks bringing mashed potatoes!

RSVP as soon as you check your calendars.
