Lt. Frederick Sineath of the 14th VA was brevetted to Lt. Col. to command the battalion with the assistance of Adjutant Bob Massella.Capt. It is easy to pick out the new Private, making it easy for everyone to keep a watchful on him.Lt. Sineath and Maj. Marc Ramsey address the troops before Sundays battle.As always, the ladies were busy cooking so that the hungry troops would have a good meal after battle.
With dark clouds approaching, we had to hurry to secure camp before the storm.Winds and monsoon rainfall hit camp Saturday evening. Everything and everyone was soaked.The black sky over the mountain was beautiful, that is, until the storm began.
